HERE IS THE SUMMARY FOR THE MOVIE THE MATRIX FROM IMDB

Thomas Anderson knows there is something wrong with the world he sees, hears, smells, breathes and lives in every day. While leading a double life as a programmer at a software company and as a hacker known by the alias 'Neo' he learns of the term 'matrix' and is obsessed to find its meaning. He also wants to meet Morpheus who is branded as a terrorist by the authorities but might just be someone altogether different. When they finally meet Morpheus offers him a choice: Anderson could either return to his world and remain flummoxed by the nature of matrix, or come with Morpheus who will help him understand 'the truth'. Anderson chooses to go with Morpheus and learn the astonishing truth: the world he used to live in until recently is artificially generated by all-powerful machines who use human body as a source of their energy, and even in the 'real' world, the machines are closing in to find and destroy the remaining free humans. It's at this stage that Anderson will adopt the name Neo, discover his hidden powers and become "The One" who will liberate the humans from slavery, all the while defending himself and his companions from the "Agents" - personifications of elaborate computer programmes designed to find and destroy humans who go against the machine rule. HERE IS A REVIEW FOR THE MOVIE THE MATRIX FROM DVDTALK

A few years back the Wachowski Brothers made their debut with "Bound". I must admit, I stumbled into the theater not knowing what to expect from the film and walked out simply floored; "Bound" was, and still is, one of those films that you only see every so often. It rises above the level of simply a film; it's a film that is experienced; a film that thrills every sense to the point of visual and sonic overload. "Bound" was a small film about two women who plan to steal two million dollars from the local mafia. It took place, for the most part, in one apartment. There wasn't one moment, though, where I wasn't exhilarated; there were moments of absolute tension, dark humor and visual thrills that left me amazed, exhausted and in awe at the detail of every frame. The sheer quality of the screenplay as well as the phenomenal performances were absolutely stunning coming from a directorial debut.
