A road trip takes a deadly turn when a young couple are tormented by a pyschotic hitchhiker who forces them to face their fears head-on.

HERE IS A REVIEW FOR THE MOVIE THE HITCHER FROM DVDTALK

Robert Harmon's 1986 film "The Hitcher" wasn't a groundbreaking suspense creation, but carved out a name for itself on the cult film circuit because it plunged head-first into nastiness. Eric Red's screenplay didn't budge when it came time to dish out death; coldly serving up some rather vivid horror set-pieces that are easily spotted as the genesis behind the 2007 remake.

On their way to a spring break destination, couple Grace (Sophia Bush, TV's "One Tree Hill") and Jim (Zachary Knighton, "The Prince & Me") hit the road in high spirits. Things turn ugly quickly when the two meet up with John Ryder (Sean Bean, "Lord of the Rings"), a stranded motorist who is looking for a ride. While Jim welcomes Ryder into their car, Grace is more skeptical, and her fears are proven true when Ryder unleashes his murderous wrath on the couple.

"Hitcher" is the latest production from Michael Bay's Platinum Dunes remake factory, the team behind the recent takes on "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" and "The Amityville Horror." Both of the aforementioned films were disgraceful in their desperation for wildly overcalculated cinematographic lunges and brain-dead direction. Unbelievably, "Hitcher 2.0" doesn't stab to the same tune, even with many similar technical ingredients in the bubbling pot.

Director Dave Meyers is a music-video maestro without any big screen experience. While that traditionally is enough to burn down the theater in protest, Meyers appears to appreciate the basic fundamentals of genre filmmaking, and lets his "Hitcher" out to play, instead of suffocating the whole thing in hip visuals and flash-cut edit rhythms. Save for one moronic attempt at a body-mounted camera on Knighton, Meyers keeps the visual artifice at a bare minimum, even cooling the genre's recent reliance on boo-scares to power the thrill engine. It's an unexpectedly tame directorial effort, and I can't believe this squeaked by under Michael "edits within the edits" Bay's watch.

The fact that this "Hitcher" is a little more patient with itself doesn't exactly mean the film has elevated in class. Red's screenplay credit still stands here since Bay and his team haven't changed much in the 21 years since the original film. The blistering pace is retained quite wonderfully for the remake. Meyers keeps the momentum whirring at just the right level of restlessness, doling out the chills swiftly, but effectively. Again, this is not an artistic piece of direction, but a confident one.

The new "Hitcher" respects what propelled the first film: that clammy feeling of hopelessness and survival as unstoppable evil is stalking you, and there's zero explanation why. Meyers is wise to not to fiddle much with the original's framework, instead coasting on the reason the 1986 picture is still spoken of highly today: its dread.

The biggest alteration is found in the lead character...or characters I should write. What was once a skittish C. Thomas Howell is now Bush and Knighton. The change actually pierces the tension, since the two actors spend most of their time explaining the obvious to each other ("He's after us!") instead of the letting the anxiety guide the scenes.

The Top 5 Ways To Watch Movies Online For Fewer Than 30 Dollars

HERE IS AN ARTICLE I MADE ABOUT THE TOP 5 WAYS TO WATCH MOVIES ON YOUR PC.

1. The best way to watch movies online is to go to www.newzbin.com and sign up for two dollars and fifty cents. Then go to www.giganews.com and sign up for one of their plans. I signed up for the 24.99. I went with Giganews because they have the best retention for their newsgroups and it also has unlimited space and download limits. Next go and download a trial version of Newsleecher from www.newsleecher.com or buy the full version. Next install newsleecher and then go sign in to newzbin and from there choose what you want from there list and download the file which is called a .nzb file it should open up newsleecher with the files and it should start to download the file. When it is done downloading you should have it in your hard drive. It will be in .rar format so open up winrar and then click on the first file you downloaded and then extract the main file that is in winrar. Then open up the file and watch the movie.

2. Another popular way to watch movies online is from Google or other sites like Youtube. To watch from youtube the video, first you need to go into your web browser and click www.youtube.com next where it says search you can search for anything you want to. When you have done the search and see the results you then click on the video you want to watch and it should open up and then play the file. It may take a couple minutes or longer if you have a slow connection.

3. An old but still good program to download files from is called IRC which stands for Internet Relay Chat which is fun to use and to chat on. First you need to download the program to use I use excursion. Go to www.excursion.cjb.net and from there click download and download the file. Once it is downloaded go and install excursion. Next you go and open Excursion when it is open go to the tools tab and click it. Next when it is open the tab for the options go to the tab on it that says server and then click on the server you want to connect too. There you should be able to connect if the server is good. I clicked on the server efnet NY so then you click on the lightning bolt and it should say connecting. When you connect go to search on excursion it is the little blue button on the top that looks like a globe it should open a channels list from there click search and type what ever you want I typed in movies and it should give you a list of channels with the name of whatever you searched for. For movies it should give you a lot of choices for channels I usually go to the channel with the most users on the channel when searching for movies and other files. When you enter a channel if it is for movies and they say they have movies then you click on the channel and on some channels they have servers which are other users who share movies and other files so to see what a server has you type in whatever the trigger is for that server. A trigger usually starts with /ctcp. When you type the trigger it shows what files you have to choose from you find the movie you want and click it, it either lets you get the file and start downloading or it puts you in queue which means you are to wait like you are waiting in a line so you have to wait till they are all done then you can download the movie from them. That’s basically it. Oh yeah and you can chat with a lot of other put there too.

4. The next way is a very dangerous way to get your free movies and that is by going to the website www.zeropaid.com and download one of the p2p programs which stands for peer2peer which is very dangerous because the police and government prosecute people who are uploading from p2p programs mostly and some cable companies will shut off your service if you are downloading too much. First you should download limewire from http://www.zeropaid.com/programs/downprg.php?id=39 and then install that program and then you can search from limewire for movies by clicking on the search button and searching files.

5. The last way to download off the internet movies is from bit torrents. They are like p2p programs and aren’t too safe but not as unsafe as p2p programs. You can get a bit torrent program from http://www.zeropaid.com/programs/index.php?scatid=84 I would get Azureus because it is one of the better bit torrent programs for me at least. When you are done download the bit torrent file you can find what movies you want from here www.isohunt.com and search for the files you want by putting in whatever you are looking for in the search box and click the search button and it should give you results. I put in Halloween and I got 573 files so the search I put was not narrow enough though I did find what I wanted and that was the new movie Halloween from Rob Zombie which was leeched from the studio and is now available on bit torrent or newsgroups which is what number 1 was. So I clicked on the file that is the third one down and has 573 s which means seeds which are people who have the full file and are sharing upload speed for you and it has 3398 l which means leaches which are just people who have part of the movie and are still downloading the file. Click on the file you want I wanted the file Halloween.2007.WORKPRINT_DVD-FUA_INT so when you click on the file it asks if you want to download the file click on it to download the file and then open the file and it should open in the program you downloaded for bit torrent like for me it opened in Azureus and it should then start to download but while it is downloading you need to be uploading it too so that is where you can get in to trouble because if you are getting the file then you should not get in to trouble but if you are sharing the file which with bit torrent you do then you could get into some major trouble.

I am new to the world of internet business but I learn fast and hope you guys will like my articles thanks.

How To Watch Satellite TV On Your PC Using Windows Media Center And A TV Tuner

HERE IS AN ARTICLE I MADE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO WATCH SATELLITE TV ON THEIR PC.

I used to spend 25-30 dollars for one PPV for wrestling back when it was 25-30 dollars for that PPV now the raised the price to 35-40 dollars for a PPV that sucks so I said never again. I have Dish Network and even though I live in a condo that has windows in the patio I still receive most of the channels for free from Dish Network and here is how. I heard online about FTA which stands for Free To Air broadcasts which is basically channels that satellites get that are free and don’t charge anything to use it but they are channels like NASA channel which barely anyone watches so I said that might be cool so I started reading up on it then I read from a website named Al7bar.tk which you can view at www.Al7bar.tk that you can use those receivers that are FTA receivers and use them on Dish Network and receiving not only the basic channels but all the channels that Dish Network has to offer including the porn channels and the PPV channels.

When I read that I went where can I buy one so I searched out where to buy FTA receivers and found a cheap site that sells them online and bought one I bought a Viewsat from http://www.gosatellite.net/ and it was under 100 dollars which at first I was a little resistant to buy it because 100 dollars is a lot to me but then I figured if I was paying 25-30 dollars per month just on PPV alone that would mean I would be paying 360 dollars a year on PPV which is already more than what this box would cost for free PPV and free porn I was sold.

So I bought it and hooked it up to my satellite and was happy for 6 months then I bought from www.bestbuy.com a TV tuner card that is called the WINTV PVR that I was going to use with my cable box and hooked it up but it wasn’t worth the money I spent since I only had a few channels on digital cable and most were blocked by the cable company any ways.

So I was about to get rid of the TV tuner when I decided to try to hook the box up to the receiver and use Windows Media Center to view it and I found out that I worked so I hooked it up to the computer and then I hooked up the remote that came with the WINTV box and then I went and looked to see if the PPV showed up and it did and so did the porn channels and all the channels that Dish Network had all showed up except for the HD channels because the tuner is not HD compatible yet.

So I hope that this helped you guys out and I hope you found this article to be a good one.

FEEL THE NOISE NOW AVAILABLE

FEEL THE NOISE NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE

HERE IS THE SUMMARY FOR THE MOVIE FEEL THE NOISE FROM IMDB

After a run-in with local thugs, aspiring Harlem rapper Rob (Omarion Grandberry) flees to a place and father (Giancarlo Esposito) he never knew, and finds his salvation in Reggaeton, a spicy blend of hip-hop, reggae and Latin beats. Puerto Rico, the spiritual home of Reggaeton, inspires Rob and his half-brother Javi (Victor Rasuk) to pursue their dream of becoming Reggaeton stars. Together with a dancer named C.C., they learn what it means to stay true to themselves and each other, while overcoming obstacles in love, greed and pride, all culminating in an explosive performance at New York’s Puerto Rican Day Parade. Written by Columbia Pictures

HERE IS A REVIEW FOR THE MOVIE FEEL THE NOISE FROM DVDTALK

"Feel the Noise" explores the heavy demands of crime, family, and the music business, and it seems intended for those who find "Hannah Montana" too challenging.

Rob (Omarion Grandberry) is an aspiring rapper in deep trouble with local New York hoodlums. Out of desperation, Rob's mother sends him to Puerto Rico to keep out of trouble living with his father (Giancarlo Esposito). Once there, Rob is introduced by his half-brother Javi (Victor Rasuk) to the sounds of Reggaeton and the delights of local dancer Mimi (Melonie Diaz). When Rob and Javi team up to produce their own music, the pressures of the artistic process threaten to break them up, leaving Rob to either fight for his dream or fight to survive the streets.

"Noise" isn't so much a feature film as it is an infomercial for Reggaeton, an underground musical style that combines the apathy of hip-hop with the shoot-yourself-in-the-face repetition of reggae. From the samples provided in the movie, Reggaeton is basically one loop of beats repeated 1000 times, and preferably performed while wearing something fiercely colored that represents Puerto Rican pride and can be spotted from space. "Noise" contends that this is the next wave of cool; a musical movement that will erupt violently from Puerto Rico and decimate the fragile minds of music snobs around the globe. I don't doubt its hipster appeal, but "Noise" reaches for the throat trying to convince the viewer that Reggaeton is the top of the pops. I still came out unconvinced.

It's a crying shame Reggaeton has such a lousy advocate in "Feel the Noise." This is a putrid music-centric picture, assembling the bare minimum of story and filmmaking coherence to backdrop tuneless singles and hilarious passes at dance choreography (where the participants just dry hump while the females tousle their hair every 10 seconds). Director Alejandro Chomski is lost at sea with "Noise," assembling the film's story out of order, using the John Waters "Pink Flamingos" school of staging, and making the ten bucks he had to shoot this picture look like five.

I think producer Jennifer Lopez's weekly shampoo budget is more than what this grimy picture cost. And it shows with every confined location, absence of proper lighting, and absurd performance.

HERE IS A REVIEW FOR THE MOVIE CRANK FROM DVDTALK

The Movie

Geared towards the latent 13-year-old in every male, Crank doesn't unfold so much as it explodes off the screen, careening from one scene to the next, bursting forth in barely 90 minutes. Sturdy action everyman Jason Statham is the anchor which keeps Crank from sailing off into B-movie crapdom; call Crank brainless, sexist and more than a little callow, but you can't say it's not a hell of a lot of mindless fun -- bouncing in and out of multiplexes in summer 2006, this restless slam-bang actioner arrives on DVD to annihilate the winter doldrums.

Directed and written by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor (both of whom make their directorial/screenwriting debuts here), Crank is an exercise in overblown simplicity -- the goofily named assassin Chev Chelios (Statham) awakens in his apartment, having just been poisoned by his rival Verona (Jose Pablo Cantillo) with a malicious dose of some mysterious drug known as "the Beijing cocktail." With blurred vision, leaden movement and a weak feeling, Chev learns he's got little time left before "the Beijing cocktail" renders him dead, his heart stopped by the lethal mixture. His black market doctor, Miles (a wonderfully loose Dwight Yoakam), prescribes no end of drugs, deeds and deadlines for Chev -- from shocking himself with a crash cart to injecting heavy doses of epinephrine, the dying assassin flits from one source of adrenaline to another, keeping his heart rate up in an effort to prolong his life.

You can see where Crank involves a hefty suspension of disbelief (the apex - or nadir, depending on your point of view - has to be when Chev indulges in a little public indecency with his brainless girlfriend Eve, a role which Amy Smart might regret having taken in a few years' time), but once you've accepted that Neveldine and Taylor aren't interested in a weighty exploration of life and death, but rather cramming as much action into an impossibly tight frame as humanly possible, you're in for one blisteringly fun ride. Devoid of any truly jaw-dropping sequences, save possibly for the maniacally over-the-top finale, Crank is all about forward momentum, keeping things popping and ratcheting up the delirium almost to the breaking point. It's the kind of flick that finds our hero on the receiving end of a blow-job while firing endless rounds of ammo out the back of a destroyed car during a high-speed chase; if that sentence doesn't rouse the latent teenager in you, then you should probably pass this movie by.

It's no accident that Crank's title screen looks like a vintage video game -- logic and common sense are out the window before the movie hits the 10-minute mark; if you hop on board, you're guaranteed one of the more deranged mainstream action-thrillers to come down the pike in some time. Brainless, bloody and borderline idiotic, Crank will still leave you dazed and amused.

  • new 10/14 - Damon Lindelof reveals: I hereby promise you one heroic Hurley moment in the season four premiere! Source: Lost Magazine
  • 09/16 - I've had permission [to reveal] and confirmation from a number of very good sources that the Season 4 premiere of Lost will feature multiple character flashbacks and/or flashforwards. This is something a number of people have speculated about, including myself, due to conflicting nature of the centric episode spoilers for [the] episode. We initially thought this was a Sawyer-centric episode then I got confirmation that it would definitely feature Hurley, well now it seems that both were correct. So far we can speculate that it will feature Sawyer and Hurley but could also feature other characters. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 09/12 - Season 4 Premiere is NOT Sawyer's as has been mentioned but is in fact Hurley's unless they are shooting out of sequence. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 09/11 - Lost was back at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. Interior filming, so not many details. However, several fans spotted and took photos of Jorge Garcia, which would make sense, as the YWCA has played his mental institution several times. Also spotted, Lance Reddick, one of the new faces on the show. He was carrying a briefcase or suitcase, one that you'd think a doctor might carry. Source: The Transmission
  • 08/29 - Multiple sources confirm that the first episode is indeed Sawyer-centric as revealed by the spoiler we posted a few days back. Source: SpoilerFix BuddyTV Spoilers Chat
  • 08/24 - Jacobe reveals: I live in Kalihi, Hawaii. Yesterday, Lost was filming on N King Street by the Discount Store and Tamashiro Market, for those that live in Hawaii. I was able to spot Josh Halloway (Sawyer). So I'm assuming a Sawyer flashback. OR maybe a flash-forward? The scene involved a car being chased by two police cars, leading to the first car to jump a ramp and crash. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 08/22 - Sources confirm that The Wire's Lance Reddick has been cast in the recurring role of Arthur Stevens, the intimidating corporate recruitor. Source: The Ausiello Report
  • 08/21 - Ken Leung [...] is joining the cast of Lost next season, sources confirm. The rumor is that Leung will be playing the recurring role of Russell ([may not be the character's real name]), a brilliant mathematician who is capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields. He's expected to first turn up in February's season premiere. Source: The Ausiello Report
  • 08/15 - The only bit of info I can add about [the] role [of Arthur Stevens] is that the character will be between 40 and 60 years old. Source: SpoilerFix BuddyTV Spoilers Chat
  • 08/13 - Also appearing in 401 and 402, with possibly more eps down the line, is Arthur Stevens. He is a ruthless corporate recruiter, tall and thin, with a chilling prescence. Source: secretagentman @ TWoP
  • 08/05 - Here is a little more about Russell: He is said to be fascinated by magic and mystery even if he works in a world of science. The role is a recurring that may end up to be a series regular. Source: SpoilerFix.com
  • 08/01 - First up is the recurring character of Russell, described as a brilliant mathematician in his late thirties who is "capable of great insights and has a tremendous knowledge across various scientific fields." Unfortunately, he tends to be too direct for his own good, and as a result, his personal relationships don't always add up. Russell is scheduled to turn up in Episode 1. Source: The Ausiello Report
  • 08/01 - [A new character], possibly extending the rest of the season, and perhaps next season, [is] Russell, a brilliant mathematician in his late 30's. Name may change of course. Source: secretagentman @ TWoP

Episode 4.02: Title Unknown
Airdate: February 2008

  • 09/12 - Lost was filming along a small streambed at Judd Trail, up Old Nuuanu Pali Road. A perfectly Lost-y jungle location. All the action was out of sight, but it was good to see some familiar faces on the crew. I can only tell you that there was a major confrontation (I could hear yelling echo through the forest), and can rattle of the list of actors I spotted. But I think you'll agree, this simple list alone is enough to get one's heart aflutter. This was a major shoot! Jorge Garcia (who was kind enough to stop and chat), Terry O'Quinn, Mira Furlan (in a nice checkerboard flannel-type shirt), Josh Holloway (who I believe was the aggressor), Michael Emerson (who appeared to have been on the losing end of a fight), Blake Bashoff and Emilie DeRavin. Of course there was at least one baby being carried around. Names overheard but not seen include Evangeline Lilly, "Carla," "Alex," "Karl," and "Fuzzy" (likely stunt pro Robert Moody). During my brief chat with Jorge, he again expressed a great deal of excitement and anticipation for the first few scripts of Season 4, comparing it to Season 1 in richness and mind-blowing moments. He also recalled meeting friends of mine yesterday at the "Santa Rosa" location, summarizing the shoot with a long, delicious, "Whew!" I think it's safe to say fans are no less excited about the return of Lost. My friend Darcy also visited the location later in the day and saw Matthew Fox in a scene with Evangeline and Jeremy Davies. Davies, playing a character named Daniel, was wearing a vest with a blinking light and made a call to someone named George, presumably or supposedly on Naomi's ship. Source: The Transmission
  • 09/12 - Jack, Kate and Daniel are hiking uphill through the jungle. When they reach the top of a rise, Jack and Kate sit down to rest while Daniel, who's wearing a black vest with a flashing red light (probably identical to the one Naomi has on when she parachutes down to the island) pulls out some sort of communication device (again, possibly the same as Naomi's "phone") and says something like: "George, it's Daniel. Yeah, my instrumentation went crazy. Seemed like some kind of electrical storm. I'm here with some of the survivors." The rest of the dialog was inaudible, but Daniel and Jack seemed to be saying a lot to each other. The take was rather long, perhaps a full two minutes. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 08/05 - The role of Charlotte could become a regular. Source: SpoilerFix.com
  • 08/01 - Also recurring is Charlotte, a hot twentysomething who is said to be "precocious, loquacious and funny... a very successful academic who also knows how to handle herself in the real world." Interestingly, she, too, has a tough time relating to people. Beneath the surface, there's "lots of repressed and pent-up emotions." [Charlotte debuts in Episode 2.] Source: The Ausiello Report
  • 08/01 - [A new character], possibly extending the rest of the season, and perhaps next season, [is] Charlotte, an attractive, athletic academic. Name may change of course. Source: secretagentman @ TWoP

Episode 4.03: Title Unknown
Airdate: February 2008

  • 09/11 - Dante: 40s, Italian businessman, knows the fun of a little competition, affable, friendly but with a secret. Must have an authentic Italian accent / speak some Italian. Source: Lost Spoilers

Episode 4.04: Title Unknown (Kate-centric)
Airdate: March 2008

  • new 10/14 - Kate pleads not guilty to a laundry list of crimes, including murder, assault and weapons charges. Source: Hawaii Blog
  • new 10/14 - The woman we saw on the balcony is called Susan and she is one of the lawyers on Kate's trial. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • new 10/14 - Down in the underground parking lot for the capitol building, near the guard booth and lower entrance off Miller St., a clean-shaven, leather-jacket wearing Jack has a brief conversation with the striking, poised Kate we saw at the end of Season 3. Jack steps away from an older, brown pickup truck, not unlike the one Locke drove in one of his flashbacks, to talk to Kate. There's some awkwardness, but there are also some smiles. Eventually, Jack helps Kate get into a yellow taxi cab, and watches as it drives away. Does this basement parking lot scene come before or after her chaotic courtroom arrival, or even in the same year? Source: Hawaii Blog
  • 10/06 - Lost took over much of the Capitol District in downtown Honolulu today, including parts of the Hawaii State Capitol and the nearby Laniakea YWCA. Deep inside the Capitol, a police interrogation. Across the street, a courtroom. But out front, it was a madhouse. It was the trial of Kate Austen, and it was a flash forward. For Episode 4 of Season 4, the Capitol building played a Los Angeles courthouse this morning in a scene so dramatic it was reported to real newsrooms around Honolulu. Action is called. Kate arrives in a black Lincoln Town Car, with Los Angeles police cruiser and motorcycle escorts. A mob of people, plus journalist and TV news crews (news vans from channel 6 and 19 were on the scene), are waiting. The people boo, hiss, shout "Murderer!" from behind the barricades as Kate is ushered inside. At first blush, it sounds like it could be a flashback, relating to one of Kate's many pre-crash crimes. But I have it on good authority that it was indeed a flash forward. although that fact may not be readily apparent as the story unfolds! Source: Hawaii Blog
  • 10/03 - They're currently shooting Episode 4, and multiple sources confirm that it's a Kate-centric outing that features flashbacks and/or flash-forwards. Source: Ask Ausiello @ TV Guide
  • 09/26 - Lost Spoilers offers us a summary of the spoilers revealed in the latest podcast: We will find out if Kate is pregnant around episode 4.04 set to air in March 2008. Source: Lost Podcasts
  • 09/17 - An upcoming episode (4.04?) will feature characters Mark Forrester, a corporate type cocky man in his 40s; Arthur Galzethron, the 60-year-old president of a corporation; and Melissa Waters, a confident business woman in her 40s. Source: SpoilerFix.com

Episode 4.05: Title Unknown (Desmond-centric)
Airdate: March 2008

  • 10/02 - RAY: 40s-50s, any ethnicity, psychiatrist, cold, professional type who can do what's necessary to get the job done. ALFRED: 40s-50s, Caucasian, British, cool and calm under pressure, knows his place in society and knows how to handle members of the upper classes. BANNERMAN: Mid 40s, any ethnicity, narcoleptic, can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but has an important piece of information to tell. A very smart technician by trade. BILLY: Mid to late 20s, Caucasian, British, a good buddy to have, willingly to listen but won't take too much gruff before he'll knock you in line. FOLEY: 40s - 50s, any ethnicity, British, physically fit, tough task master, unrelenting. A performance reminiscent of R. Lee Ermey in "Full Metal Jacket". LARSON: Late 20s - 30s, any ethnicity, smart, dangerous but capable of charm and humor. Tough military type. Follows orders and doesn't question them. Possible recurring character. KEAMY: Late 20s - 30s, any ethnicity, dangerous, physical - a great tactician, loyal friend and the last enemy you ever want. Military type. Follows orders and doesn't question them. Possible recurring character. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 10/02 - 4.05 could be Desmond-centric. Lost of British soldier types. Also in the eps and possibly recurring, Ray, a coldly professional psychiatrist. Source: secretagentman @ TWoP

Airdate: March 2008

  • new 10/14 - Chandley Price - mid 30s to early 40s. Female. She is tough, no-nonsense and beautiful in an unadorned way. She is a therapist by profession and yet could benefit from some therapy herself. The qualities that make her a leader and effective at seeing into other people also cause her problems in her own life -- she can be overly controlling and obsessive. Her strength of personality is undeniable. Recurring role. Source: Lost Spoilers

General spoilers:

  • new 10/14 - Fisher Stevens is joining ABC's Lost in the recurring role of Minkowski, a mysterious character alluded to several times toward the end of last season and ultimately heard over the phone when Jack made contact with Not Penny's Boat. The name Minkowski, the Hollywood Reporter notes, could be an allusion to German mathematician Hermann Minkowski, whose concept of a fourth dimension - time - played into Einstein's theory of special relativity. Source: TV Guide Online
  • new 10/14 - Jorge Garcia confirmed that there would be another death this season. Source: The Fuselage
  • 10/02 - Executive producer and co-creator Damon Lindelof said the fourth season will continue "to answer and ask a lot of questions." But, he added, "season four is going to be a whole new show in a lot of ways. We're really excited with what we're doing and hope that it'll offer as many surprises as the finale did." Among the spoilers Lindelof revealed: "Michael is coming back. Definitely. As for Walt, we've always known Malcolm was going to grow faster than we could shoot the show. And we planned for it. Trust us. Please trust us." The show's producers have already figured out what they will do with the mysterious character of Jacob, who was introduced at the end of season three. Picking his words carefully, executive producer Carlton Cuse said, "Yes, we do know how Jacob will be depicted. Notice the careful wording of my answer. And no, Jacob did not appear before he was met by Locke." Cuse also declined to say whether an actor had been chosen to portray the character. Flashbacks will continue to explain the backgrounds of some of the characters, but there will also be glimpses into the future, the producers said. The producers said that it is inevitable that the time-bending story of Lost will continue to use looks both backward and forward. "It's absolutely inevitable, not to migrate completely away from flashbacks, but at least to find a new paradigm for storytelling that changed up the nature of the show," Cuse said. "Moving forwards, you'll get a mix. Every week will hopefully be a guessing game as to not just who will be focused on, but when we're focusing on them. Flash-forwards will be a part of season four, yes." The reverberations of the death of Charlie Hieronymus Pace, played by Lord of the Rings's Dominic Monaghan, at the end of the last season will inevitably continue at the beginning of season four. "The reverberation of that death echoes right into the premiere of season four," Lindelof said. Source: Sci Fi Wire
  • 09/30 - For at least the third time within a week, the production crew for Lost returned to the historic Laniakea YWCA building on Richards Street, across from 'Iolani Palace. For the show's many character flashbacks, this beautiful building has served as everything from a mosque to a French restaurant, but most notably as a mental institution. I have a feeling that the recent shoots may have the building playing a different character. With the filming taking place inside the meeting rooms on the third floor, there wasn't much to see but the crane-mounted spotlights. Though things didn't get rolling until sunset, the lights could have easily helped create a daytime scene within. Evangeline Lilly was spotted at the location, as well as this actress, who took a smoke break out on the balcony. Look familiar? More photos from today's shoot can be found here. Lost was at the YWCA on Monday morning, too, similarly secluded from passers-by. But I did see Jorge Garcia and Matthew Fox making their way across the street. Spotting them together has got fan gears spinning. Since it seems unlikely Hurley and Jack met prior to the crash of Oceanic Flight 815, chances are they were filming one of the promised "flash forwards." But, we'll have to wait until next year to find out for sure. Source: Hawaii Blog
  • 09/26 - Interestingly, Lost is back at the historic YWCA on Richards Street in downtown Honolulu. It was again an interior shoot, closed set. But, trailers indicated accommodations for "Jack" and "Hurley," and sure enough, I spotted the pair leaving the building just as I was leaving for work. The usual unrevealing 'parked trailers' photos can be found here. Hurley and Jack? Flash forward, maybe? Source: The Transmission
  • 09/26 - Lost Spoilers offers us a summary of the spoilers revealed in the latest podcast: Patchey is confirmed dead but we may see more of him. Source: Lost Podcasts
  • 09/26 - It appears that episode 2 or 3 is going to be Sayid centric: I was in downtown Honolulu today (Saturday 9/22) and they were filming Lost. It was suppose to be in Germany. They had snow (shaved ice) all over the road. Some of the security said it was a Jack scene. It was not, it was Sayid. There was no dialog I could hear, just Naveen crossing the street several times. Source: Hawaii Lost Yahoo Group
  • 09/20 - Lost executive producer Carlton Cuse confirms that [Cynthia Watros] will be playing Hurley's dearly departed sweetheart [Libby] again this season for multiple episodes, presumably in more of Desmond's flashbacks. "She'll be in enough of the show for us to fill in the missing pieces of her story," says Cuse. Source: The Ausiello Report
  • 09/12 - According to documents on the online database used by the production company the character Jeff Fahey is playing is named Frank Lapidus. May be a fake name, but it is used consistently in the casting call sheets, shooting schedule, etc. Jeremy Davies to play character called Daniel Faraday. Source: Lost Spoilers
  • 08/30 - An upcoming episode will feature a female translator in her 30s who works at a university and translates from French to English. Source: SpoilerFix.com
  • 08/28 - Executive producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse tell EW.com that Jeff Fahey - a cult-pop fave most famous for The Lawnmower Man and most recently seen in Grindhouse - has been added to the show. [...] The producers wouldn't comment on the character that Fahey will be playing, but said he was the first and only choice for the role. Source: Entertainment Weekly
  • 08/22 - We're hearing that creepmaster Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan) is doing eight episodes of Lost this season, and one Rebecca Mader will have a major recurring role as well... Perhaps as the much-discussed Charlotte? Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • 08/12 - Carlton Cuse and Damon Lidelof reveal: Who is on that frieghter and are they good or bad is a significant part of next years' show. [...] If Naomi was lying about working for Penny... who says there even is a boat? Source: The Official Lost Magazine, Issue #12
  • 07/30 - Carlton Cuse revealed: We aren't changing any of the format of the show. We are just adding the flash forwards as an element. They have made a radio call to a freighter, and there are people on that freighter, and it might be logical to imagine that that storyline will continue... The situation is going to be very intense this year. Charlie wrote on his hand not Penny's boat , and the message he wrote on his hand was very important. It was really funny because the clip at Comic-Con showed Mr. Friendly saying, 'by the time you see this, I'm gonna be dead, but I am telling you it's a shame because whoever is going to come after the Others is going to be a hell of a lot worse than we ever were.' Damon and I were listening to him and sort of nodding our head going, 'That's pretty prophetic.' With Jin and Sun there is a very dynamic situation at work. She's pregnant... the fate of her child, the fate of their marriage, all those questions Damon and I will get to and more this season. Walt will be back. You will see more of Jacob. Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • 07/27 - The Comic-Con Lost panel started off with a clip featuring Ben calling the Others a "rebel sect" and Tom (M.C. Gainey) saying "By the time you see this, I will be dead." Then, a voice-over in the clip revealed "The survival of the Island is now at stake. Carlton Cuse told that Rachel probably won't be on the Island. Cuse and Damon Lindelof warned fans to not get too attached to the character of Richard Alpert because actor nestor Carbonell is part of the regular cast of the new CBS show Cane. Cuse said that flashbacks and flashforwards will both be part of the upcoming season. Lindelof nodeed furiously when asked if Jack and Claire would find out they are related. He also confirmed that Ben and Henry Gale had words. The duo revealed that Harold Perrineau is indeed returning as Michael Dawson but they don't want to reveal how or when he returns; however, Damon Lindelof claimed that he would return ealy in the fourth season. Lindelof added that "[Michael] too some extreme actions" and that his story is about the power of the Island to be redemptive. Cuse confirmed that it is their "intention to get to Libby's story this year." They revealed that "there are important things going on in Danielle's story and they have to sync up." They will work on syncing those things this season or the next one. Lindelof confirmed that the whole deal with the moster will be answered. The Lost panel present a never-before-seen Dharma Film. It is hosted by Marvin Candle but the man presents himself as Dr. Edgar Halifax [Note: It sounds more like Haliwax]. The film is about bunnies but more specifically about Bunny #15. Candle indentifies this station as Station 6, The Orchid. Then, he goes on to say that the viewer has probably realized by now that he or she is not working at a mere botanical research unit. He apologizes for making him or her lie to friends and family members about the nature of the work. He mentions something that sounds like "Kasimir effect" and mentions the "unique properties of the Island." Then there's one of Jacob's subliminal messages. It may have been some variation on "as Jacob loves you." Then there's a bunny riot. One of the station's alarms blares, Dr. Halifax/Marvin panics. There's an intercut clip of someone riding a bicycle. The clip is inserted upside-down, and the rider appears to be in the village of Otherville... And then, amid the chaos (perhaps this is the Incident?), the filmstrip slides off the reel. • 07/25 - During a show of AlloCiné Séries, Lost producer and director Jack Bender was asked if the format of Season 4 episodes would change to include flashfowards as used in the Season 3 finale. Here is the translation of is answer: No, there are no rules in Lost. Certain episodes will have flashfowards, others will have flashbacks, others will have neither. It will depend on the nature of the story, of what Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse will write with the writers. I know what the global approach of the upcoming season but the series will not really change: it will only depend of what the stories will be. Source: AlloCiné

  • 06/26 - I can tell you that producers definitely have made an offer for Harold Perrineau to return in the new season, which they also did last season (Harold declined because he was working on a pilot). Back then, Harold was offered a truckload of money. Now, sources tell me he wants that same truckload. The question is whether he will receive it-hence, the holdup. Source: Kristin on E!Online

  • 02/12/2006 - Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof reveal: Given everything else we have to tell, [Libby’s story] is going to be a mystery that's going to have to get answered in year 4. There's really one significant missing piece to Libby's story. We saw in the season finale last year that she met with Desmond, she gave him his boat, and we know that her husband died — and then we know that subsequent to that, she spent some time in a mental institution, the same one as Hurley. The question the audience wants answered is, How did she get from A to B — from Desmond to the mental institution? We know the answer to that question, but the only way to tell that story is through another character's flashback, and that character would have to be another character on the show who is not among the beach dwellers. He is not on the show currently, but I think everybody is very curious to know what happened to Michael and Walt, and we hope to get back to that story. We know she's spent some time in the mental institution with Hurley, and the idea of killing her before she had an opportunity to explain how she got there... we have a master plan for how we're going to tell that story, but it's all posthumous. You'll start to learn Libby's moves through flashbacks over the course of the next season. So we're not done with Cynthia, but Libby is dead. Source: The Ausiello Report

A woman named Ruthie comes to the ER because of an injured foot. The doctor learns that Ruthie has been on an extreme regime and training in order to lose 40 pounds. Ruthie and her fiancé Will admit that they agreed to get married when Ruthie lost 40 pounds. In exchange for the sacrifice, Will would quit smoking. The doctor tells the couple that, besides the foot injury, Ruthie has two other fractures. In order for the repairs to hold and recovery to be faster, she will need to eat. After vomiting, she is brought in surgery. Later, the doctor finds Will smoking. He says that Ruthie will forgive him. Thing is, Ruthie died because her body was too weak. The doctor calls Will on his need to make Ruthie be hot instead of accepting her for who she was. Source: SpoilerFix.com

  • 10/06 - Lauren Stamile has been cast in a "major recurring role" on the hit ABC drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter. She'll make her first appearance later this season. [...] The HR teases that Stamile's character will share screen time with Patrick Dempsey's Dr. Derek Shepherd but doesn't disclose in what capacity, be it professional, personal or both. There's also no word on when she'll make her first appearance. Source: Zap2it [Note: Some rumors say she may be a potential love interest for Derek or another of his sisters. Most sources seem to agree that she is a love interest but nothing has been confirmed.]
  • 09/26 - As for the romance between Derek and Meredith, things seem pretty much the same as always. • 09/26 - We're told producers are looking for a big-name star for a recurring role on the show to begin around November. She'll be in her early 30s, sweet, strong and the sort of girl who would catch the eye of a certain regular character. Source: Kristin on E!Online
  • 09/19 - "I want to be clear that Derek loves Meredith," [Shonda Rhimes] said as if to put the debate to rest once and for all. "Derek loves Meredith more than anything and I can't imagine Derek going anyplace else other than Meredith." [...] "A lot of people aren't sold on Izzie and George," she acknowledged. "I think the mistake that everyone makes is that we are telling you Izzie and George are the love story of the century; they're not the love story of the century. And when other people find out about Izzie and George - remember, people don't know about them yet - other people might think that's not a good idea either." [...] I caught up with James Pickens Jr. on the red carpet and he teased that there will be some drama surrounding the Chief's living situation (i.e., you won't believe who's moving in next door). • 02/10 - I know that casting agents have been in Toronto recently, looking to cast a girl between the ages of 10 and 12 for an arc next season. Now, as much as a great show like Grey's might plan ahead, this seems to be way ahead, if you ask me. So, my first thought is that this girl is Izzie's bio-daughter. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: We have seen Izzie's daughter this season. Does this spoiler mean that she'll be back next season? Or is the 10-to-12-year-old girl not Izzie's daughter?]
