Brigitte's on the run from Bailey Downs, and she tries to prevent what happened to her sister, Ginger, from happening to her by shooting up with monkshood. Eventually she collapses and the police that find assume the monkshood is an illegal drug, and she is sent to rehab. She is deprived of the only thing that will stop her from turning into a beast and killing everyone and everything in her way. She meets a girl who is quiet and not well-liked, and much like herself, by the name of Ghost that helps her deal with her new problem and to escape the werewolf curse. Brigitte has escaped the confines of Bailey Downs but she's not alone. Another werewolf is tailing her closely and her sister's specter haunts her. An overdose of Monkshood - the poison that is keeping her transformation at bay - leads to her being incarcerated in a rehabilitation clinic for drug addicts where her only friend is an eccentric young girl by the name of Ghost. Number-o Uno director and Number-o Two-o producer John Fawcett: "When we were talking about the original Ginger Snaps movie, it was always to try and be as unique and original as possible. So coming out with a sequel, it was important, again, it be unique on its own. That it be a smart movie. And it was important that it didn't suck!" Mission accomplished, John. Three-for-three, in fact. Capitalizing on the breakout success of the first little-movie-that-could was a fiscal inevitability. To preserve the core creative team and produce such an engrossing, amusing and satisfying sequel is almost as implausible as lycanthropy itself. And with a prequel on the way, Mr. Fawcett and his Canadian gorehounds could easily have themselves the Lord of the Rings of menstrual werebabe movies. Why stop at mere furry feet?
